FAQs
What does “svea” mean?
The word comes from Svear (Swedes), one of the earliest documented tribes in Scandinavia. They were part of the North Germanic peoples, living mainly in what is now central Sweden. Svea Rike (meaning “Realm of the Swedes”), is the original name for the Kingdom of Sweden.
What makes svea unique?
We focus on the importance of high-quality ingredients combined with our perfected recipes. Every single ingredient we use has been vigorously tested and compared to alternatives to ensure we use only the best ingredients possible within a reasonable price range to ensure our products remain accessible to as many people in our communities as possible. Among other things, we only use eggs from pasture-raised hens, unbleached flour with consistent moisture and protein levels, highest grade dairy products and ethically sourced, high-quality spices. Additionally, we never use artificial sweeteners or preservatives of any kind.
